Terms & Conditions

Bookings are made with USAIL LIMITED, 10 Manor Gate, Bishop Down Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 8UY (hereinafter called “the Company”) and must be accompanied by a deposit of 5%. Only when the booking and deposit payment has been received by the Company does a contract exist whereupon a balance invoice/booking confirmation will be forwarded to you.

In the event of the holiday charter being withdrawn or cancelled due to any industrial action, epidemic, riot, earthquake, legal action, war, exceptionally bad weather, or circumstances which are completely beyond control of the company we reserve the right to cancel the holiday or part thereof. If the holiday is cancelled within four weeks of the departure date due to any of these circumstances then we will offer the alternative of either a comparable holiday, if the same is available at the time, or a full refund, less reasonable expenses incurred by the Company in relation to the booking. Once your holiday has started the Company will not be liable for any loss, delay, extra expenses or inconvenience caused to you for any reason .
If the Company is forced to cancel your booked charter holiday for any reason, then the Company undertakes to do its best to provide a mutually acceptable alternative holiday or give a full refund.

Usail Limited will give a full refund if your booked charter holiday is cancelled up to one week before your departure date.
If cancellation takes place in the final week before departure the deposit will be fully refunded

If unforeseen major changes occur for example in airport and other taxes, VAT, exchange rates or fuel costs, then we regrettably reserve the right to pass these extra costs on to the client without notice. No surcharge will be levied on any holidays less than seven days prior to departure.

A deposit of 5% is required at the time of booking. The balance of the payment for the holiday must be received two weeks prior to departure. Bookings made within the six week period must be paid in full at the time of booking.

You can use your debit or credit card to confirm your booking instantly. We will send confirmation of your booking by post within a couple of days or if you prefer you can send us a cheque made payable to Usail Limited.

Must be made in writing by the person who booked the holiday (i.e the lead name) under the terms set out in the REFUNDS section of this document.

We reserve the right to put people ashore if their alcohol abuse disturbs other clientele or is deemed by our Skipper/Stewards to be likely to damage the yacht. If an accident occurs in Greece whilst you are under the influence, normal drink drive rules apply and all insurance will be negated.

Air conditioning is available in all cabins and main saloon. It is operated by a 240v system which requires a high power shore supply or the on board generator, which is located between the two aft cabins. The operation of the generator will be restricted to 2 hours per evening operation only. This service is included in the original costing scales. If, however, further use of the air conditioning is required, a charge of £2.00 per hour will be made.

The Greek Government requires that all clients take out their own holiday/travel /accident insurance. The Company will not be held liable for loss or damage suffered by the client whether insured or uninsured.
The client must take out their own holiday/ travel/ accident insurance policy and indicate so in the booking form box.


Greek Law demands that all Charter Skipper/Stewards are personally responsible for the safety of there yacht and crew / clients at all times while on charter, this law is enforce by the Port Police. Your charter Skipper/Steward has over 30 years sailing experience and is well know in Greek waters.

No charter yacht my sail after night fall and is not allowed to sail if wind strength reaches a force 6 Beaufort Scale, 22-27 knots of breeze.
If sailing is cancelled because of poor conditions this decision will be based on various weather reports and when in port consultations with other flotilla Skipper/Stewards. He will keep all clients informed at all times.
